CONCERTS PROGRAM | EDITION 2023

The nineteenth edition of Novara Gospel Festival will be held at the Coccia Theater in Novara on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September at 8.30 pm with two rich gospel music evenings.

On Friday 15 September the Brotherhood Gospel Choir directed by the Novara musician and architect Paolo Viana will be the protagonist. The winner of the "Gospel Music Awards" as the best Italian gospel choir, this year will present a renewed repertoire, selected with the aim of offering the public an exciting show in the name of the fusion between tradition and innovation.
Main Event of the evening will be the US Grammy and Stellar Awards Myron Butler (Texas), director and leader of Myron Butler & Levi.
Singer, composer and producer, considered one of the most influential artists of modern gospel, Butler represents a welcome return for the Novara festival, he has in fact already been a guest of the festival on three other occasions, enjoying great success with the public and critics every time.
During the concert, in addition to interpreting his best songs, he will pay tribute to Andraé Crouch singing some of the most representative pieces of this great artist, a true icon of world gospel, who died in 2015.

On Saturday 16 September the NGF Workshop Choir, after five intense work sessions, will put into practice what has been learned under the direction of the extraordinary British vocal coach Carla Jane, recognized and respected as one of the most talented and interesting gospel voices in England.
Following the Main Event of the evening with the American Richard Hartley (New York). Pastor, singer, actor, arranger and composer, during his long career he has had the honor of collaborating with Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Staple Singers, Edwin and Walter Hawkins, Celine Dion and R. Kelly, to name a few. Appreciated by Luther Vandross, to whom he is often compared, it ranges from Sade's rhythms to a groove reminiscent of Earth, Wind & Fire. For more than 20 years he has served as a pastor in the church he founded, "Haven International Ministries" in Rockaway Beach - New York, where he directs the choir "Haven House Choir" with which he has realized numerous musical projects including "Journey to the Good Life". In 2021 he became the protagonist of the successful television series "The REV", produced by NBC Universal.
